課程概述

General Biology is a two-semester introductory course covering central biology concepts. It is designed as an introduction to biology for students planning to major in Biology or having a serious interest in the Life Sciences. The objective of this course is to explore the fundamental characteristics of living matter from the molecular level to the ecological community with emphasis on general biological principles. For the first semester, we will introduce the chemistry of life, the cell, genetics and the mechanisms of evolution.

 Our goal is to provide students with the fundamentals for continued study in biology or other related fields.
